Michigan Harleyfest - whose going?
Just wondering how many people are planning to attend the Harleyfest this weekend. Its a great time, and a big get together with bands, a bike show, and just a bunch of great people.

I'm giving it consideration. The only reason I will go is because my two nephews, who are new riders, want to go and experience it. I would much rather head West to the other side of the state, ride my motorcycle all dayand be away from the crowds and the noise. I've been to Harleyfest before and it's no big deal to me, butif you like that sort of thing, be sure not to miss it. Where will you be leaving from if you go, Motor City?

There are vintage races this weekend in Gratton, thats where ill be, good times, fun watching the old bike fly around the track, plus beeer & food , its a blast!

I wish I could make it this weekend,but I'll be in Tennessee riding the dragon. Hope everyone has a safe time. Any other major michigan events this summer? Is there a show in Fowlerville again this year? Let me know where you all find out about michigan rides/events.

The event in Fowlerville is an Easyrider event, check their web site. Its a good one, I've been to that one 4 times. Chillcothe (sp) is an even better event held in Ohio, we will be attending that one this year for sure.

I will be leaving from home, I live just northeast of Freedom Hill in Chesterfield Twp.A bunch of my buddies and father will stop at my house, and we will leave together. Where are you riding from?

Be sure to ride the Cherohala Skyway, The Foothills Parkway, The Blue Ridge Parkway & the National Park in both directions. Try to make it to Maggie Valley and visit the Wheels Through Time Museum. You won't be disappointed, it's awesome. Look for road 360 in Tellico Plains and ride that. One of the sweetest roads I have EVER been on.
Where are you staying?
The Easyriders Rodeo is indeed in Fowlerville again this year. August, I beleive. Quite a show.
