Default That Smell
My son has a 2001 Road Glide. It has a oil burning smell on decal. I've also owned one that did that. It doesn't burn much, about a quart every 3500 miles or so. Is there any way of getting rid of that smell. Is it caused from something else ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am on my 3rd Road Glide, the oldest was an 05 and never had a smell on decal nor decel???

I too have ridden with guys that smell.
Not really a cure for it except to ride with someone else.

It might be valve seals. They were improved for the 96" engines.

it doesn't smoke. But when you're riding it , or are riding behind it , you can smell burnt Oil when you get out of the throttle
