Do you wear a helmet to protect your head, or to simply meet the minumum law by wearing a DOT helmet. If the former, rather than the later...is your head worth only $20??
Granted I didn't look real hard but I didn't see made in the USA in that listing, what I saw was item location USA.
Might be a great helmet, IDK, but I seriously doubt it's DOT approved.
Ride safe.

i would say it's not made in usa. could be wrong. ebay language is
pigeon english. rancho is a common location for importers to set
up office within reasonable distance of port long beach. that ebay
seller probably imports thousands of those a month from overseas.
I have a couple German style helmets (never wear them anymore), and the nicest I have is a carbon fiber Skull Crush. Cost a lot more that 20 bucks though.
Have had more helmets than just a couple folk riding bikes today and regardless of the value or quality of the helmet I question the style. If you have ever or never ridden with one ask yourself if it would catch wind. Best I can offer. Then Ask yourself the value of your lid. No judgement. I have plenty of brain buckets. Just is that what YOU want?
I wanted a minimalist helmet so I bought a Biker Helmets brand 1/2 - what a piece of cheap junk. So yes, that $20 variant will be every bit as good, no doubt whatsoever. The Biker Helmet is worth no more than a Jackson.
You could get a genuine DOT/SNELL Approved open-face motorcycle helmet for $20.00 forty-five years ago, and even then it might not have been American made. In the event of an impact, the edges of that Kraut helmet could act as a fulcrum, and lever your head in the wrong direction.
FWIW, I just ordered a Shoei RF1200 for $495.00. It's made in Japan.
