Honestly, the only thing that drove me away from changing my own oil in my cars and bikes is the hassle of getting rid of the old oil...
In my state, any place that sells oil is required to accept used oil. As for me, I have a relationship with a truck garage in the next town. They heat the shop with a waste oil furnace, so theyre happy to get my waste oil.
