shock settings
I've read a lot of questions about different shocks and shock settings. Whether you have stock or after market(I have progressive 440's) here's an easy way to start dialing in the bike, jack up the bike the bike and measure the shock length, let down the jack and measurethem again while sitting on it, it should be 1/4 to 1/3 compressed, if not adjust preload, this should be close to optimal, adjust for personal preference. Any way it's a great starting point. Harleys are very good handling bikes given a little fine tuning. Ride safe and alert.
