But how would you feel if a weekly landscape crew constantly blows debris on your bike? After multiple requests not to.
The first few times was after I had just detailed the bike, but todays the bike wasn't washed after a 150 mile ride yesterday.
Now am I in the wrong?
This guy said that a blower could not damage paint or chrome finish..
???
I'd be mad, not only because they blew debris on my bike but because they drove onto my property, broke into my garage, and rolled my bike out into the yard. Maybe I'd cal 911 before I went out to confront them. HTH

Knife not pulled but was in his hand pointing at me the entire time, but he wouldn't have got close to me.
I live in an apartment and most of the time the hike is covered, I left it off today as I had a feeling that it was going to be a dumbass day.. With the cover on it gets into my air filter cover easier.
Tomorrow is another day so I'll try to get in touch with them again, or Wednesday I'll have to file a police report for their insurance company..
I saw another crew today so I stopped and spoke with them, their Forman said yes a blower will definitely f'up chrome and paint...

Happens every Tuesday at my work, so I just park the bike in a different spot on Tuesdays

As mentioned find the person in charge of the hiring the crew,, mention to that person that they'll only have to pay you for the deductible amount on your insurance policy.
Or, You should just stab'em

I never did understand what blowing dead grass and leaves from one spot of the planet to another is supposed to accomplish.

Living in an apartment and storing your bike outside covered "most of the time" and your torqued up about the lawn guy?

Buy one of these and park your bike out of the way.

I would find better things to get torqued up about personally. I cleaned my bike up before riding down to Galveston this weekend for the Lone Star Rally. Got caught in a rain storm coming back with no forecast of rain. Then, closer to home on a two lane county road, I got stuck behind a stock trailer full of cattle. I was probably 100-150 ft. behind the trailer waiting for an opportunity to pass. All at once several of the cattle decided to relieve themselves while the trailer was moving 60 mph. I now had a wall of cow **** that looked like a big cloud coming toward me. There was nowhere to go, thank God for full face helmets and windshields. The nerve of this guy loading a trailer full of cattle without first making sure they had relieved themselves! Doesn't he know all that sticky cow **** can ruin motorcycle chrome and paint. Also, who was in charge of the weather forecast that day who lied to me? I don't know what to do. Comon Man!

You should just beat the crap out of him, like that guy* just did to Rand Paul. Apparently, it was over some sort of landscaping nonsense.

*That guy is a total hero.

I mentioned something like that on Facebook about the gardners blowing their stuff out in the street or across the street onto someone else's property.
I got responses like.....why am I worried about such a piddly thing, or, those guys work so hard they are great.

I am sure if the gardner across the street from them was blowing stuff into their yard, "Piddly" would not be one of the words they would be using.

Almost every week someone is blowing their "stuff" out into the street, and especially those who clean parking lots with those. My truck is constantly getting trashed from those things.

It is common courtesy to not blow that stuff around or towards vehicles of any kind. Unfortunately some people don't have that!

I'm not one that gets all caught up in Jerry Springer type news but this one definitely caught my attention. Can't wait to hear the reason behind this one. Paul must have really pissed him off to get him to do that. He had to know that he was going to jail but thinking in the back of his mind "don't care I'm kicking his ars today and it's going to be worth it".
