Not sure if this is the right board..
But how would you feel if a weekly landscape crew constantly blows debris on your bike? After multiple requests not to.
The first few times was after I had just detailed the bike, but todays the bike wasn't washed after a 150 mile ride yesterday.
Now am I in the wrong?
This guy said that a blower could not damage paint or chrome finish..
???
My PC response to you would be to move to the country where you control what happens in your property.
My not so PC response is youre speaking the wrong language. Two fold meaning...one meaning is be that grumpy old fart and force them to listen to you; the other meaning is speak their language in their native tongue. Not everyone speaks murican.
This guy said that a blower could not damage paint or chrome finish..
???
You mean you have brought it to his attention and he argues with you about it?
Wow, time to talk to the person who hired the guy. I'm guessing this is not your property or problem would be solved. I know something like this would definitely get me agitated. You have a right to address the issue. Keep us posted on how it goes.
Well being grumpy had the one man who could speak English talk and point a knife at me.. Luckily he didn't motion towards me..
He said that this was pety... I said it's my property.
Treat it with respect..
You know, the air is not the problem, it's all the dust and crap that's getting blown around into all the crevices of your bike. Same thing happens when you're riding through dust storms are other crap. I'm guessing it's your property from your last comment. Still, your bike, your property, you pay them to do a job your way, not theirs.
Had a friend that would tell me "Choose your fights wisely" meaning, sometimes there just not worth the time and effort after all is said and done. That's what your going to have to decide.
Whether or not the blower would or could damage the bike in any way, it's the fact the he's blowing debris on it. You didn't ride and park it in the condition, so it needs to be clean when you ride it to leave.
I'd talk to his boss or the company who hired them. And if that didn't work, I'd make sure that he blew the crap off of my bike.
