Even worse - a Honda Insight. And don't bother - I had to turn in my man card when I bought it.

The minivans were work vehicles, so somewhat more manly.

Only if carrying tools newer than the Binford 4000 series. Power tools, even better.

The only issue I've ever had with ethanol is the need to replace the carburetor floats in my '77 BMW with OEM alcohol-proof floats; this was back in the mid 1980s. Since then, ethanol in gasoline has been a non issue for me. I ran E-85 in my Chevy Silverado a few years ago when gas prices spiked. IIRC, my fuel mileage dropped from 16.6 to about 14.

It's not good for your engine, small passages or rubber ****.
There are Ethanol free stations in the county but not everywhere.
It's purpose is 2 fold,
stretch the gas
and
help the farmers
added plus that was not figured (for consumers)
help mechanics and parts departments/manufacturers

Here is South Carolina it's easy to find non-ethanol stations. I have 5 stations within 10 miles of me that have pure gas.

Lucky you. How much a gallon? Only way I can get it is by buying racing fuel at $10 a gallon.

I used to live somewhere that had an ethanol free-option in the octane range that I used. I was running E0 87 in both my car and my motorcycle.

Now, the only E0 available within hundreds of miles is 110. Aside from it probably being a little costly, what would happen if I felt froggy and jumped on it? I'm guessing it would have little to no benefit since my 103 still stock tuned isn't high compression.

The 110 in Vegas at Rebel Oil Co. is LL, Low lead so it does have lead in it.
Would not be good for your O2 sensors or cats if you have them.

Ethanol sucks, but if you have to use it Star-tron will keep it from getting phase separation. I use it for all my yard equipment and everything fires up in the spring as it should. Also fill the fuel tanks to the top to keep down moisture accumulation. Most of my stuff is stored October to April like this.
