2000 road king running problem (please help me)
Hello to all! My name is Rudy and I have a 2000 road king that is driving me crazy! The bike starts fine and then idles fine it'll run from any were from 5 to 15 minutes then it just dies and won't start up again for about an hour! Then I'll hit the start button and it'll start up and do the exact same thing! It doesn't matter weather I'm riding it or just letting it idle after 5 or 10 minutes the bike just loses spark and dies! I was told it was either the coil or the ignition module so I replaced them both and still have the same problem. I have a brand new battery and it's tight! But after warming up and bike dying I tested for spark and had none! can someone please tell me what's wrong and how to fix it!

The bike is running on battery juice it sounds like. Once the battery is exhausted, it dies. After an hour, your battery has recovered enough to do it all over again. So, you need to look at your charging system is my best guess. Stator, Voltage Regulator, that sort of thing.

Any codes show up? Somewhre around here ther's instructions on pulling codes...it's cycling the ignition switch on and off in a certain sequence and reading in the odometer window. Might test the crankshaft position sensor, too.
