J&P is not going through bankruptcy. The parent company MAG is going through the bankruptcy form that lets it maintain business while it gets its house in order.
The only thing I noticed about J&P is prior to it being acquired by MAG they always had a 10% sale when any rally was going on and had great Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. But that stopped when they were bought out. They still have the gold club card program that gives 10% off on all things.
