Very good DVD. Buy it today then find a parking lot and start to practice.

Being able to handle a big bike at low speeds is an awesome skill anyone can develop. All it takes is practice. And it's really cool to be able to confidently whip a tight u-turn on the street when there are a bunch of people around. It's fun to show off sometimes.

riding a motorcycle is a perishable skill that demands a constant self analysis. If you ever think you know it all and don't need further training, you have trouble coming.
So true. One of the things I tell my RLAP students is that they need to practice the techniques, untilthey are all second nature. Then I tell them that they need to keep up the skills so they don't diminish. Most of my students WANT more practice. I hadone ridertell methathe would be willing to pay$25.00 just to come out and ride the exercises on his own.So now, I open the range up for one hour before a scheduled class. The first six students to show up and pay $25.00 get to ride the range and practice all the exercises forthat wholehour.

When my wife decided to start ridding again, I bought it based on what I had read on this forum. I've been ridding since '66 and found it to be a great DVD. I still review it every so often.

Surviving the Mean Streets isn't that great. I hoped to pick up a tip or two, and I might have, but it's not anywhere near as helpful as Ride Like a Pro. Depending on how much $20 means to you, you might choose to get it or skip it.

But definitely get RLAP!
