Trying something different this year for my trip to Bikeweek in Daytona. Going to put the bike on the auto train for the ride down. Wanted to try it coming back but all spots were filled so Ill do it going south.
They offer priority unloading for autos autos but not bikes. Was wondering if it is a long wait til they get the bikes unloaded? Wondering if its better to get loaded early or later in Va to get your bike off quickly. Also I watched some videos and it looks like its best if you take your own soft straps. Correct? Tks guys.
I've taken the train 3 times.Once oneway and the other round trip. One time the bikes were first off the train, the other times it didn't take long. The straps that they use looked good to me.I did take a couple of rags with me to put on on fenders.
