I can just hit a button and tell my car who to call. Pretty easy. I’d venture a guess that making a call in a modern car with decent BT integration is a helluva lot less distracting than programming your nav or yelling at your kids or eating a Whopper or adjusting your music or any of the million other things people do while they’re driving.
If fact, I’d venture a guess that the people who are chastising the OP for making a call probably have a few bad on-road habits of their own.
I thought that would be common knowledge. Anybody who has bought parts at a dealership or online should know that most of the people selling the parts know very little about what they sell or about bikes in general. If it's not on the computer they are clueless. When I'm parts hunting I go armed with the name of the part, the part number and the old part or a picture of it. Otherwise I'd be setting myself up to be victimized.
Now I know most of you hipsters and millennials out there love shopping on line but personally I hate it. When I buy something I like to see it and hold it in my hand before giving up my cash - yes, cash. Because if I have a problem with that item I like to have a throat I can get hands around if necessary.

It's was fun arguing with the parts person about the oil filter for my Sportster when I first got my bike
I know the book says it should have a chrome filter, but I want black. No, put that back and get me a black filter. I don't car what color the book says, look outside, do you see any chrome on that bike other than the fork tubes and handlebars ...
Thankfully that parts person didn't last very long
