10-20 over the limit. 10 on 2 lane roads and 20 on super slabs.

Sounds like a neat guy to meet if one is ever in his area...and if you can catch him at home.


How fast do I ride? Not very. I'm not into self-thrills, speeding tickets, higher premiums, and all the things I never used to think about. I'm always within 10mph of the posted limit...under or over.

Usually not more than the speed limit+5.

On a Harley? Usually pretty close to the speed limit. A lot less stress that way for me. On a track, a different story. And that's definately not on a Harley!

My wife and I had grain trucks passing us on 14/34 as we made our way to Sturgis. They were making a living and we were killing time.

$430 worth of too fast. 21 over Lake Meade Nat. Park. Now speed limit and enjoying it.

Maybe 3 or 4 over If I'm not paying attention I can pay attention to my speed easier than I can pay a fine to the judge.

Depends on the highway, more open, 80 mph basically just flowing with traffic.
