People complain that the bars from Factory 47 are too pricey compared to others but they smooth and polish the insides just as much as the outsides, so theres no sharp edges at all. Wires pulled through mine with ease. Yes its extra work for them, and yes its extra cost, but ya gotta pay for attention to detail.
Hence the reason why I chose the Factory47 bars for my bike. These are hands down the best quality bars I've seen and the wires went through with no problems.
You don't make a shitty weld and it won't look like that. If his heat is set right and travel speed is right it won't overpenetrate in spots and have lack of fusion like it has in other spots.
I believe it and probably not the only ones. Been on here a while and every week there is a post on installed apes with someone saying this does not work or that or a fuse keeps blowing.
Ask your INDA what he charges for colonoscopies.

I've done a number of the Yaffe monkey bars, and they are similar. Not only is that an issue for cutting the wires, but also makes it very hard to run them. I would just put a good amount of electrical tape where the wires would rest after the final assembly is in place, I never had any problems, including a set for myself, but it is something that could be an issue down the road. You spot stuff like that when you are trying to run the wires, and they keep snagging on something. I don't know what those bars look like, but not much of anything would be able to clean the welds on the Yaffe bars
If and when I ever get my bars, Ill have to look inside. I dont think I read any complaints about pulling wires thru the KST bars. I'm not scared!!!
I said earlier that I have their Mayhem bars on my Road King and like them enough that I went with their Renegades this time. Never had an issue with the Road King but more at stake with the new Road Glide. I would consider buying from them again as I like the width. Looked hard at Factory 47 but never found the specs I was looking for. Perhaps I should have done an inquiry.

This is precisely why I started the thread, to help folks going forward. Problem is not many folks have an endoscope. You would be hard pressed to find this with just a flashlight, actually nearly impossible with the style of these particular bars. I lust happen to like the style as opposed to the smooth bend types.

They are pretty much the same style as Yaffe bars, at least close. Yaffe are just wider than I prefer. My Indy will be actually cleaning the inner roughness away to a smooth finish as such a bar should have. Issues down the road are not going to be a problem for me because AGAIN he is very thorough. Here is exactly what the bars look like.
Yesterday I sent them an email and received an almost immediate response which shocked me. After a bit of back and forth they offered to wire them for me which was a nice gesture but I declined knowing my Indy will make this a non issue but again, glad he is so thorough. I finished just saying I was only letting them know in case it was an oversight. I was assured this would not be a problem but I will have peace of mind no matter what they or anyone else says. I thought they handled it as best they could.
