I display both my helmets AND my gas caps next to my engine/trans/primary oil cans on a wire shelf in my garage...

I didn't know helmets were like trophies...mine are up on shelf in closet (bagged).

I just recently purchased a helmet for a ride that is going to Fenton Missouri(the mud bug festival) which is a helmet state! Lid of tour pack just touches the top of helmet so I’ll put a little bubble wrap over it till we hit state line where I have to wear it!

My helmets. All I've ever owned. On a shelf over my workbench. Newest is from 1992 and oldest is circa 1840.

When I crossed Nebraska (helmet state) into Colorado, I knew I wouldn't need it anymore, so I displayed it on the mile-marker post at the state line, in case someone needed it going into Nebraska.
