I removed the vinyl loom from the wires...made a big difference. You'll have to decide for yourself whether the extra protection that the loom affords is that important to you.

If these are meat hook style bars...heaven help ya.

I did not de-pin mine

One thing I think helped for me was I left the bike in the Wheeldock and semi-tightened the bars into the clamp then pushed/pulled the wires instead of trying to fight with them on a workbench.

I don't know about the soap, I used some grease on mine. Honestly, it was more of a confidence issue pulling them through than anything. I thought I was pulling harder than I needed to, and all of a sudden, there they were.

Wrap everything, plugs and all, in electrical tape, making sure your pull wire is secured in the tape. A clovehitch knot on harness from your pull cable, chain, rope, whatever you're using, tape heavily over it and try it again with some grease. Something will work, guaranteed.

If you’re pulling all the right side wires at once, try a different way. I pulled the switch wires first, then pulled the TBW wires through. (On 12” Factory 47 bars, ‘16RGS)

I tried that first twice. No way I could get the connectors to make it past the bend! De-pinning took all of 5 minutes maybe and was easy to do. Pushing the pins back in took seconds.

I put the Yaffee reapers on my bike.
They have a video that helped me. I took the vinyl coating off the tbw cable and put shrink tubing on in its place. I did not de-pin that cable. Coated it with soap and it was still hanging up on the peak but I just kept working it and it finally went. The shrink tubing did get sliced so I recoated it.The switch pack cable I de-pinnned. Cable side I de-pinned and that went really smooth.

Just take your time and be sure to push more than pull. It can be extremely frustrating. Take beer breaks!!

I talked to my Indy earlier and he pushes the cables about a half inch then pulls. Repeat until all the way through. He also put the KST Mayhem bars on my Road King a few years ago and said these Renegades were not nearly the quality of the Mayhem. So again I say, QC seems to be a problem. I won't be buying them again. Will try to get through the season and then switch to Factory 47.

Like someone said, have the bars tightened in the clamp or a vise or something. It will make it much easier. (You didnt say if you did or not, so I am just mentioning it.)

Any change you can take a pic of the connectors you are referring to that dont go through?
