BTW. How does one fill up with gas then ride away with a big open hole in the top of the tank? If someone is that big of a risk to themselves how much of a risk are they to others out n traffic????? I'm just sayin'.

How about cutting the gal some slack. The 2014 Street Glide has a flip up cover over the cap. She wouldn't have a big hole to see or gas splashing on her lap without replacing the gas cap. Everyone makes mistakes.

Nope, she should be grilled as an idiot just like a woman would do to a man for the same violation...equal opportunity

Correct, it does. And for this reason, it doesnt take long to realize that its a two step process. Screw in cap, close fuel door, just like a car or truck. Maybe that means motorcycles are getting too technologically advanced!
Go back to the gas station, they usually have a box full of caps. If they don't have it, I would check a few other stations before I went and bought one.

Thanks, I didn't think of/know that. And you are correct in that everybody, some of us more then others, make mistakes. Some of us are so narcissistic we forget that there are other types of scooters in use.
Never say never, all it takes is one sh*tty day. Ten years after I laughed at a woman driving off with the fuel hose still in her tank, I did the same. Was in the process of a divorce, just gotten laid off, and told I needed a new house A/C. My mind was not on pumping gas.
I would have laughed at you driving off with the pump handle.. but I wouldn't have gotten far, as I filled up the bike with F..ing diesel fuel !! Pulled up after a all nighter at work, watching a hot girl getting gas in front of me, grabbed the "green" handle instead of the black.. My mind was elsewhere.
Pricey lesson..
