Left mine on a pump about a month ago.
Stopped at a station and the only pump not in use wasn't working right so I had to go in to pay.
I had about 15 other bikes waiting for me, and got in a hurry.
I didn't realize it until I had to get gas again at about 150 miles, I had been bitching about what shitty mileage I was getting to the other guys, and when I opened the hatch and I was staring at the hole in my tank, feeling like a dumbass.
Been riding since 1968, and it was a first for me.
My girlfriend left her gas cap on the pump Saturday. 2014 Street glide. Where do you suggest we get another one besides the stealership? Or does this belong on the thread about where you leave put your gas cap? Lol
Take your bike back to the dealer since you feel the manufacturer of what you ride are dishonest and just trying to rip you off. Why give them any money?
