Here is a picture of the flhtk 2015 I am looking at. I'm not crazy about the front wheel but it is 21" so I can always sell it and swap it for another.
If I drop the rear 1" and put stretched bags, it's already got the apes and the 21 in the front, as well as the V&H pipes. I really wouldnt need all that many more mods to bag it out.
I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on this one, only thing I find is the UG is so damn heavy and high, I can only hope dropping 1" in the back makes a world of difference.
Im swapping seats to get lower and ive heard mean city cycles mentioned for seat mods. 1" i dont think is going to make that much of a difference overall on how the bike feels and i dont really thing the streetglide feels any different than an ultra, just an inch shorter.
Few things - ULTRA for sure and dont touch the suspension, change the seat! HD hakes a lower seat, its a bolt on. After market such as Saddlemen have a custom shop to do this if they do not have a product available... I never heard of a dealership saying swap the suspension - HD itself has a fitment shop.. If it was me, the 21 incher just aint my thing..
