big mistake today

I went in to get a crank position sensor and the parts manager offered me a new SG for a few days to see what I thought. He got me that way with a screaming eagle RK.

One of the reasons I'm very hesitant to take any bike that's caught my eye on a demo ride.......

I've sat on the new Ultra so many times, they don't even approach me anymore. Wish I would've never sat on it to begin with.

Me too,I am fine til I go in and look around and get talking to the salesman,mine is just about paid for just a few months away to be exact,the thought of a new bike is nice but starting over to make it the way I want it plus more payments,just can't do it.

Agree..! Must have more willpower then most. I've taken the new bikes for test rides more then once. Sure, they seem nice. But mine has an FM 107 build, Aftermarket front and rear suspension and a zillion to many other things to mention. When I compare the new ones to my existing modded bike... I can take it or leave it, and as of now my choice is to leave it. Can't say that is what it will be forever but it is my choice now. At this point.. I'll wait to see if the MoCo does anything different with the Limited for '19

I did the same (more or less) I came home w/an 18FB 114. The new softys are a terrific bike
