Default Rolling thunder 2018
Anyone going to Rolling Thunder this weekend??

I'm staying at the Holiday Inn in Arlington, Va. this year. The last 8 years we stayed at the Marriott Key Bridge. Thought I'd change it up this year.
Weather is looking good so far. After the parade I'm off to Marysville, TN for the Great Smoky Mountain HOG rally.

Will be down town Sunday morning early. A group of us are heading to the HOG Rally on Tuesday morning.

Leaving ‘Cuse on Friday morning. On thru to Philly & visit the USS New Jersey. Philly to Wash Sat. Parade & straight home Sunday. And of course rain predicted for Sun north of Pa

If the weather holds, ill be there. Rain gear isnt really, well, rain worthy, anymore, lol. Weather man keeps going back and forth between a nice day and tons of rain.

We will probably be riding in from Bull Run HD in Manassas, Always fun to ride I 66 East for 20 miles with all traffic held and just two columns of bikes in the center lane.

nice depending on my mood, I'm either going to ride up with old glory or fort Washington (hd of dc).

As of today, it looks like from Chicago to New Stanton (first stop) and then to D.C nothing but sun. Then from D.C. to Wytheville (overnight stop) to Marysville, Tn. then back to Chicago it looks like rain the rest of the trip. Bummer!!

That's still a few days away so anything can happen.
I've had 95% perfect weather for the last 8 years - so maybe my time is up.

Look for me and say hi - I'll be wearing a black t-shirt and have a grey beard.
