On the '18 softtails the Jiffy stand is located back a few inches from where they are located on previous models. I'm thinking this would interfere with the use of this lift. Am I correct?
Also, my bike has been lowered 1". Just wondering what the ground clearence needs to be to be able to use this lift?
For just routine cleaning and maintenance the Vlift seems to be a grreat choice.
If you ever make it to Jacksonville you can try it out.
I really hope the current wait times are accurate. Just ordered one today.
Wouldn't count on it. It will be 8 weeks tomorrow since I ordered, still hasn't shipped. I sent an email inquiring as to the status last Monday at 7 weeks and was told it would ship no later than Friday but it didn't.

that's frustrating. I have a feeling I'm going to be in the same situation
They are still behind on a lot of orders. It's hard being patient with that kind of loot out there.mine took 10 weeks to ship.i got it just in time for the 1000 mile service. Good luck to everyone waiting .
First let me say that I did own a J&S jack back when I owned my Street Glide and my Fat Boy. And the J&S was the beat.
But I sold the jack when I sold my bikes.
Now I am the owner of a new FXLR and need to buy a jack. And because of the backlog on orders for the J&S I have been looking at other options.
I have the opportunity to purchase the HD jack and I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with the HD jack.
I don't expect the HD jack to compare to the J&S, but if it gets the job done that is all I need.
Thanks
Ok so, I got my jack less than a year ago. First bottle jack leaked like a stuck pig after about 6 months.
They were real cool about shipping me a replacement bottle jack ( same cheap sh*t one made in China )..
Worked fine for a bit...Now THAT one just started with not pumping up so I pulled the rubber plug and filled it with hydraulic jack oil.
Works again but there was and still is no sign of leakage so where the heck the oil went is beyond me.
Fingers crossed it continues to work.

At the risk of seeming snarky, but only intending to impart one guy's opinion...the more I read about these expensive jacks, the less I want to own one. The irony is that if this was any other tool, part, motorcycle, equipment, what have you, guys in this forum would absolutely be up in arms about quality, customer service, speed of shipment, etc.
