No, it's not a, "can" thing. It's more of a, "want" thing. A new Harley out of the shop will do every thing the owner's manual says it will do.
My experience with J&S was nothing like this, they were great. They must be very backed up with orders right now. I love the fact that the J&S fits my Dyna without any modification. Roll it under, lift the bike and you're good to go.
Mine took a solid 2 months. I think a free shipping offer they had really backed them up but that's a guess on my part. Glad I got free shipping! At least you have to know you're dealing with good people doing the best they can turning out a good jack. I sent an email with my order number very nicely asking if there was an expected ship date, that I wanted to make sure I hadn't fallen through the cracks. Got email in a couple days and a ship date that was missed but it showed up soon after. Don't stress!
I was finding it hard to believe they were so backed up on orders but I see I'm not the only one waiting 8 weeks or more.bye the way j&s never contacted me without me calling or emailing them first.

I followed this advice. J&S did respond in a timely manner. Apparently, it's because of their vendor, who supplies the bottle jacks, which I hear were not up to standards. Said it would most likely ship the end of this week or next. Regardless, good business acumen should require regular updates on any backorders or shipping issues.
