I"m fairly new to cycling. Had this sportster since last sept. I've ridden it enough to lose count and begin to feel comfortable on it.
It is a little tall. I bought some boots with 1 1/2 inch heals to help me reach the ground after putting 13 inch shocks on it. It had 11's
on it but wore out the wiring in the fender. Had not brake light, front or back. It was two problems. The wiring and the front switch
was broken. I've been riding on a learners permit til this week, Last week I took and passed the Ca Motorcyclists Safety Course.
I have a chance to buy a LaPera Bare Bones solo seat. I borrowed it to try it out. It seemed a liitle hard but comfortable. I didn't
ride very far, 15 miles or so. I'd like to know what others opinion on this solo seat are. Tim on my xl sportster custom
I had a Bare Bones on my Street Bob and it was like riding on a brick. Worst seat I have ever owned. Get yourself a Mustang Vintage, Very comfortable seat that actually looks pretty cool too.
