I know that there are usually lots of postings about new model year bikes.
Any good info or intel yet?
Just bought a new Heritage and asked the dealer about them. Of course he said he was not sure when they were coming in.
No changes are expected to Softails with the one possible exception being elimination of the 107 in favor of 114 across the board for regular bikes and 117 for CVO's.
Probably mostly paint.
There is hope for a new touring frame but I think that is a few years out.
There is also hope for major revamping of the Sportster line in the form of frame and / or engine but there has been no substantiated chatter about that so don't expect that now.
On my own, I think there might be some tweaks to the 500/750 Street line or an additional model added.
I wouldn't be surprised if they roll out a Road Glide based trike.
I would expect for someone to have color choices by now. I think I am about ready for a m8 either lowrider, deluxe, or heritage. What will swing it for me is the color. If 2019 does not have something that knocks me out, I will wait until 2020 and see. That also gives HD some time to work the kinks out.
Most of the guys I ride with are 65+, and half of em have switched over to Tri glides, and free wheelers. There is always talk of why no Road glide trike.
I have been thinking about getting a new bike lately, but the 2018 colors didn't impress. It's about time I went back to basics.
As in "Shiny *** Black, with tons of Chrome", could work.
Be interesting to see, but I haven't seen anything yet to make me want to trade my 2007 (paid for) Street Glide. My bike is set up exactly like I want, and runs like new, so why would I want to spend $20,000 + for a bike that I'd have to start all over again making it my own. Been there/done that way too many dollars and times before. Besides I have no desire to get insulted by a salesman when he tells me what the dealer will give me for trade-in on my Street Glide. Over the years, I've probably got over $20,000 in my bike, and I don't need to hear a guy smile at me and say "they'll give me $6500 trade-in", like he's doing me a favor!

In my case, I traded my metric bike on the new bike and got a very good deal. I did haggle for about a minute. I told them NO on the first pass. Then got what I wanted.
