we had an iron mishap on a patch wondering if it is repairable or not ?

Sure, not difficult. Just find someone with a sturdy zigzag machine and have them freehand embroider over the scortched threads.. I would recommend a Singer 401 home machine, or 20U industrial. Modern plastic home machines will probably puke trying to go though the existing stitching.

Or you could keep wearing it and tell people it happened when the Black Widows MC dragged you behind one of their bikes before you ganked them all SoA style.
