Default Circulator Seat Pad

I'm curious about the circular seat pad Part Number 51076-10 that Harley sells. I love to hear from people that have one or have tried them. Are they worth the money or are they a waste of money etc. I have a 2014 Ultra with the stock seat on it. I'm curious to what some of you guys have done or do to solve some of your "seat problems"... ALL comments are appreciated.

Totally worth it - keeps your rear much cooler than without ...

I have used the Circulator Seat Pad for the past several years. A little pricey for a seat pad, but worth every penny on a road trip to Mt. Rushmore in 108 degree heat. Wish it had a more permanent attachment to the seat though. I feel like I need to lock it in the tour pak at restaurants, rest stops, etc. so it doesn't come up missing when I return. Definitely makes for a much cooler and more comfortable ride, seat-wise, on a hot-weather road trip.

I got this one from Amazon for about 1/2 the price of the Harley item. I can't compare the 2 but this one worked well.
Amazon Amazon
I have also used the Taxi driver beads which also worked real well.
I cut all the trim off so all that is left is the beads.

I'm not a seat pad person, they are always shifting underneath and i find that disconcerting. Also, the stock seat is way too foamy-soft, so a pad won't fix the underlying issue of needing to be firmed up. I think a far better solution is to pick up a used seat here in the classified from an aftermarket maker such as Corbin or Mustang, etc., as they will all have firmer cores. I can ride a stock Harley seat for about 1 hour, but I can do a 12 hour day on a Corbin. YMMV

I think you misunderstand the purpose of the air circulator pad... it keeps you from getting swamp ***. It does nothing to add comfort to the seat.

My neighbor puts down high miles on his rides...swears by his Circulator pad.

The OP isn’t asking for another solution to something, they are asking for specific opinions from circulator pad users.

As as for the circulator pad; IMO it’s worth every penny and I wouldn’t ride without it.
It certainly cools down your ***.

Thanks Guys, for your posts and comments. I found one on "Flebay"
https://www.ebay.com/itm/large-16-13...d=232863271636
It's about half the price of HD and looks to be the same thing without the bar&shield. So now I'm curious if it really is the same thing. You know HD don't make them their self so it's like everything else. I work hard for my $ and giving it away just for the bar&shield logo doesn't make sense to me I use the saving for Gas.
