Default 2006 heritage softail

Hey guys... i trying to find out if there is a seat available for my heritage softail that will give the wife a little more comfort... The standard seat is ok for short rides, but anything over 2 hours and she's having a hard time. We used to ride an ultraclassic and this was never a problem.... If i cant find a seat, I will have to buy her a bike...

Buy her her own bike. She might enjoy riding her own. I wish more women were riding

Well, comparing the two bikes is like comparing apples and oranges. The suspensions between the two simply cannot be in the same league. You'll never be able get that Softtail to be as comfy as the Ultra.

That said, you can gain considerable comfort with a better seat. You will get more bang for your buck with the seat. You can spend a lotta bucks for a little improvement on the suspension.

Good luck!

There's probably more seats available for softtails than any other model. I'm sure you can find something.

We don't mind the suspension... it's just the amount of surface area on the seat... I love the bike, and the ride, but my seat is bigger. Actually, she does really like how much easier it is to get on and off the heritage.

I have a Mustang wide touring seat on my 06 Heritage. That is probably the best mod I have made in that bike. That was $400 well spent.

When I had mine I put the HD upgraded rear seat. Wife did over 20 K on that one.
