My dad has a home in northern lower Michigan. A long *** deep sandy driveway. About half the time I visit him, I end up laying it down, gently.

My dad also has a winter home in Deland, FL. with a long *** deeper sandy driveway. Happens there too.

I grew up riding dirt bikes, and sand was the ultimate ride, but a 900 lb + Limited, hell no.

Theres drops, and theres tips, and theres high side/low side crashes...either way a drop/tip low speed is going to happen, and it happens quick and unexpectedly. An engine guard will keep the damage to a minimum, it also keeps it from going all the way over on its side.

No, there's three kinds of riders:

1) Those that have dropped their bikes
2) Those who will drop their bikes
3) Those who blame their wife for dropping their bikes

The bike is just a thing. As long as your OL is ok, good to go

Like was said before, the oil probably just came out at the oil cap but I would trailer the bike to someone to throughly check out those scratches before riding it.

This right here. It's just a replacable machine that's gonna get wear and tear.

Would be a good time to let the wife learn how to pick it up by herself.
