My Low Rider came with a 3-prong pigtail plug. Still only 2 leads to the battery though. Anyone know what this is for? I'm wondering if the previous owner needed it for heated gear or something.
When I first looked at the picture you provided, my first thought was a USB charging port. But, if there are only two leads going to the battery maybe not.
I am pretty sure that all the new bikes have a 3 prong. It matches up to the Harley Davidson branded tender. You can use the 2 prong tender with no problem.
