This is a continuation of a previous post from me.....
After weeks of waiting to get my Fatboy back with a stage III kit installed, I took the bike out for 200+ miles to break it in per the dealership instructions... rev'ing it up and down, and thru the curves was fine, as it was simply nice to have my ride back. Upon taking the bike for a 100 mile ride with the HOG chapter, the bike was leaking fuel/ oil out the carb... in fact my leg was saturated. I took the bike back and they said they would look at it and fix it. Some new fuel lines were installed, and the mechanic mentioned he forgot to seat and tighten the main jet. Okay... after a week in the shop for this correction, I get the bike back, ride 25 miles and pull over and I am again saturated in gas... WTF? Is this a breather issue? Why would the bike be blowing fuel out the carb and air filter? Why would the mechanic not be able to figure this out the first time or the second time? Should I get a new carb (Mikuni HSR45?) any ideas or suggestions would be quite welcome... .. been two months of dealing with this nonsense. The Screaming Eagle techs said this would be a quick and easy upgrade... it has been anything but that... ..
You would think that the mechanic would have taken it out for a test ride after the repairs were completed. If you still use them record your odometer to see if they even take it out.

Test rides tend be short and quick, couple miles usually and little or no highway runs.

He didn't want to get covered in gas.

Time to talk to the MOCO. Make a call, let them get a fire going under the dealership
Doing so won't make a bit of difference, I did that and they could have cared less, they didn't even call the GM of the dealership I had a serious issue with nor did they call me back as they said they would do.
Harley Davidson doesn't give a **** about its customers.
Where is the gas coming from?
If it's from the overflow tube, the float isn't right, or stuck.
If it's out of the mouth of the carb, I'm surprised it even runs, and you're probably washing the cylinders.
