Porsche has designed two engines for Harley. Current V and a 1980's twin that was never commercialized.
My ref to Porsche and 1st = 1st H-D diesel / 1st commercially viable diesel.
Personally I would put my own money in a nuclear bike, or perhaps commission Granatelli to dust off his turbine.

Not sure the world was ready for the motorized bicycle, either, in 1903.
Diesel, biodiesel, alcohol, fuel cell, hydrogen, EV, turbine, etc. Considering my kids will live to see the end of petroleum as we know it, someone is going to make the leap in a big way.

Harley riders are retro by nature,peak oil..the end of petroleum as we know it ? Gimme a break that ain't evergonna happen [sm=joke.gif]
I'm just hoping I can keep buyin 93 Octane fora while,I hear big twins will run ok on regular if that's all you have...
