Need additional information before attempting a windshield install
I bought a factory quick detatch windshield for my Fatboy that has a Nacelle headlamp, pictured below

The docking hardware pictured in the small box above just came in, and I need to figure out how to convert my current nacelle set up to accommodate the hardware. Pictured below is the hardware kit, the only picture I could find online for installation, and my bike's nacelle lamp, front and back. Has anyone done a docking hardware install? I'm not sure where to begin, as the instructions aren't too clear and I couldn't find anything on youtube.
The instructions look pretty clear to me. Lay your parts outs so that you can identify them by their numbers and start at step 1. Read each step carefully and follow each step in order and you'll get the job done.
It' the same exact set up that Heritage's have so if you can go take a look at one and grab some pics for reference. Good luck.
Looks like a tin shead to me and sounds like you fill to old for that silliness. There is over 20 loose parts there. Done wrong and it flies off could cut your head off.
You need some young kid to do it...works for me.

Wasnt sure if the instructions provided were all I needed. Thanks for the input, Ill post photos when its done
The hardware and brackets for the shield look the same as the Road King factory shield. Go to a dealer and get pictures...it will make it easier to get the arrangement correct. Remember there is a LH & RH for the large standoff bracket.
having problems getting my passing lamp/nacelle off so I can install docking hardware for my windshield. Cant tell if the passing lamps rusted on or if they arent supposed to come off that way

That looks like weld to me. Keep taking loose bolts.
