Default Dynojet power commander advice

My new to me '06 Fatboy came with it installed under the seat unbeknownst to me or the seller who was actually selling it for his brother inlaw that lives on the other side of the state. It looks like you need a laptop and a usb cable to interface with it. The bike runs great so I don't want to mess with it, just curious about it. Thanks.

Yes, you can tweak the PCIII with a computer. You probably could get the cable and a manual from Dyno Jet. I ran one for about 7 years, then replaced it a couple of years ago with the newer version (PC V). It would be a good idea to go to a shop that handles PC tuning and have them put a copy of the map on a thumb drive for you. Just in case you need to replace or retune the PC.
BTW, The Power Commander does not do anything to your ECM, it plugs into the harness so if necessary you could just unplug it, then plug the harness back together and you'd be back to stock.

Thanks Duecedog, glad to hear that, as I said, runs great so I'm glad to know that it's not something you have to keep fiddling with on every new tank of gas, or coming out of winter storage.
