I have Samson drag fishtail pipes. No baffles, and I love the pipes. Much louder than anything else I have heard (not that means they are better. I know they are suppose to be ****, performance wise.). My bike has a carb, which might be why I think they sound so good. I do get a lot of comments on them. Haven't had a bad one yet. My favorite was when I was on a run with at least a hundred other bikes. When we stopped for fuel, one cat ran over to me to ask about them.He said that the sound reminded him of the old hot rod glass packs.

Have a friend with fishtail pipes and no baffles ...........when I ride with him , he`s always on the right of me . They sound awesome but ....I like to hear at the end of the day too ![8D]

people behind me say there's a certain tone at some speeds that makes their ears hurt momentarily
