Hey forum, I know some might like it or not so Im going with the post... theres been a lot of talk of this layframe modification in which it lets you rest your frame level with the ground... Most bikes Im seeing with this mod have rear air suspension and a (non-stock) swingarm... Recently noticing bikes with the same result but looks to me like doing it with a stock swingarm... Would anyone know how much modifications does one have to do to accomplish this either with a stock or special design swingarm??? Very curious... Thanks so much in advance for replies... Happy Holidays to all...
You will have to do this with air or hydraulics.
It will bring you a Fat Zero for any other attributes, add to the unsprung weight and is a total poser mod.
You are in my opinion allowed to do this, albeit if you are asking how, I will guess you will be paying someone to do this mod for you.
The most EZ way will be with an airbag/frame swing arm redesign.
As a hipshot guess about 3000 bucks to roll it in here dismember it, add the bag, lift points-perhaps a stretch to make it all fit under there and a
repaint of frame parts involved.

...and after all of that the bike won't be any faster or handle better and the resale value will be less.
You see these drop things esp on the Big wheelers, or whatever they call them.
Sturgis always has an ample supply of them and every other goofy thing a novice might like.
this layframe modification in which it lets you rest your frame level with the ground
? Your frame isnt level with the ground already? I dont understand the question. Do you mean "rest your frame on the ground" ? Like air suspension that the whole bike just goes down and doesnt use a kick stand or something? Never heard of "layframe"
