I'll tell ya this for a fact though and you can quote it. "I've pushed a HECK of lot more Hondas than I have Harleys."
Ha ha ha. I have heard the "i would rather push a ford/Chevy/dodge" than walk BS. I will take the ride, thank you!!!!! I like my HD and the day that some metric company comes out with the"thing" that I like better. I will have it and ride the **** out of it.
and then you have the harley die hards who do the exact same thing on anything 'rice'. me? i don't care what you ride, if you ride, i'll ride with you. if you're an *******, i won't ride with you again. regardless of what you ride.

I was about to say the same thing. I use to wave when I had crotch rockets, and most harley riders just stared right through you. I think a lot of times people see harleys as lower tech with a higher price. What they don't see is the quality of materials used on the bikes.

This, I enjoy checking out all kinds of bikes and it sometimes reaffirms why I would never buy certain ones. The group I ride with has a couple of Harley riders but is a pretty mixed group. On one ride this new guy showed up claiming he was a former Harley tech and he would never buy one because they had too many issues and went on and on, blah, blah, blah. He spurted out something like a Harley has 50 gaskets and my Victory only has 5, why do you need so many gaskets? I actually got a good chuckle out of his spewing mouth. Never did see him on another ride again though.
I kind of enjoy it because it usually exposes their ignorance.
I dont need to dis anyone's choice of bikes.
This is not the 60s or 70s anymore-the Japanese hate is gone .
The WW2 guys are gone.
I do have my own preferences..and I don't care what anyone else thinks,
if they can think an original thought not lifted from somewhere else.
If........
Harley Riders are the only ones allowed to trash the brand. And the dealers, and the MOCO.
and the same can be said about Goldwings, or Suzukis, or Kawasakis. I had a 2012 FLHX, was the best bike I ever owned, then. I now ride a 2015 Goldwing. Still love, and wish I still had the FL but the GL is one sweet bike. People ask why I changed. I tell them the truth. I always wanted an HD. Came to a point in my life when I could swing the one I really wanted, so I bought it. Rode it from 2012 to 16 and bought the GL. Why? I always wanted one, and the FL was starting to give some issues with about 45,000 miles. Figured I would trade her in while I could still get some descent change on her and bought the GL. Who knows. In a couple years I may want to try another brand. As of now I have had all the dream bikes I ever wanted. A friend rides a road master. Does nothing for me, but who knows. If he ever lets me take it for a spin, my thoughts might change. I see no reason to dis another brothers, or sisters ride. Just get out there and put down the miles.
