Harley's New Castalloy Adelaide factory in Australia made their motorcycle wheels for years, very good quality . Harley was in the process of closing this plant and moving wheel production to China ? Has this plant closed ? Where were my 2106 Harley wheels made ? I do not want my life depending on crap China made wheels . I will buy aftermarket American made wheels . I remember a few years back China was caught using scrap alloys in their car wheels and there were some failures with the US made autos using theses garbage rims .

i remember the plant in australia closing and moving to china was big news for a while, but i never heard if it actually happened. looking at the hd webpage, it only says that
Certified by Harley-DavidsonŽ to perform to our tough vehicle standards for quality and durability
so, looks like foreign made, but not specified where. the big question is, have you heard of any hd wheels coming apart and causing any accidents or injuries? i haven't.
Harley has been making their their alloy wheels in China for many years. My 2012 TriGlide wheels were made there. When parts are made in China to US soecifications, with American oversight the quality can be as good, if not better than US made.
But, I wouldn’t say the same for products purely managed by China.
