Default Engine guard substitute?

I am looking for somewhere to put my feet when on highway. I dont know if i want an engine guard. I saw kyrakyan has what they call a cruising bar that just goes across the frame. Is there anything like extended pegs that just attch to frame?

There used to be different front lower engine mount plates that had an extra bolt hole to mount pegs, but the last time I saw one was years ago. Make your own?

What bike?

I know on Sportsters they have the engine mount plates with the extra hole. But they only work with mid mount controls. My 97 883 has them.

If you have a bike with floorboards Ciro makes a frame mounted highway peg mount that replaces your front floorboard mount and comes up from under the top edge of the floorboard. Got mine in but haven't put them on yet.

Hi there,

We have a couple great options! The CIRO Adjustable Highway Peg Mounts, with chrome or black arm, are a revolutionary solution to the challenge of adding comfortable highway pegs on a bike with fairing lowers. We started at the motorcycle frame and then worked our way out. The result is the strongest, cleanest looking, and most practical highway peg mount ever.

Ciro chrome or black engine guard highway peg mounting kits are the modern solution for motorcycles equipped with 1-1/4" engine guards. Our patent pending pinless design is the strongest and most elegant solution of any engine guard mounting clamp in the motorcycle market. These kits feature our 4" ergonomic extension that allows every size rider the ability to adjust and fine tune their forward riding position.

Just saw these today. They look interesting... Jac-Knife Highway Pegs. They are tucked away under you floorboards and fold out.

I've got enough problems with scraping my floorboards as it is - anything that mounts underneath that is going to be utterly destroyed.
