Just happened to park the bike showing this split horizontal across my front tire. 90/90/21 8k miles.. This is the 2nd one Ive Seen this happen to. If it was from running over something I would chalk it up to that. I would have to have been running backwards for it to slice it like this. Anyone else see this with the E-3s ? Wish I would have taken of my buddies Custom in Fl last year to send to Dunlop.
I like the tires but cant trust them again. Dont know what brand next but it wont be Dunlop or Metzlers. Check your Lops if you have them.
Some lose some win i don't Like the Dunlop much my self but some riders get great mileage and wear from them others get crap like yours which i have had with other bikes. You do need to maintain them with good tire pressures i keep my at 40 psi in each tire front and rear and there wearing nicely got 8000 miles on them now and they look new and are wearing evenly. I do use a air pressure monitoring called FoBo been using it since 2010 would great results it warns me when my tire get low plus an give me my tire temp when riding great info to have. I get the info prior to every ride love it
Better pic. Rear replaced at the same time and rear gets abused. I agree QC near the end, really past it. I run 40 psi with tubes Ultra. They stay consistent.
Jake those are just rumors from some drunk guys from Pennsylvania I know. They actually never get to see what the front end is doing haha. Thought I would see you but damn not again.
