Bike that new, I'd file a claim on my comprehensive coverage. You should have a mechanic check it out.

1. Set motorcycle upright
2. Keyed ignition:
Cycle ignition switch to OFF then IGNITION
3. Keyless ignition:
Cycle OFF/RUN switch to OFF then RUN
4. Push hazard switch to turn four way flashers off

Hitting a dear and laying your bike down could definitely cause some unseen problems. As was said above, file a claim and have it looked over thoroughly. Sounds like some wires may have broken

Tip sensor? Back in my day, we called it a carburetor.
If it got sideways, the bike would stop running.

I wouldn't tip the deer. If anything the deer should be paying you.

We dropped the '13 Road Glide Ultra in traffic just after making a slow stop sign turn and the driver in front stopped quick and my Dyna reflex kicked in and I grabbed front brake. Went over to the bars in slo-mo. the wife and I righted it and we didn't have to reset nothing. Bike started up and got into the first available parking spot. Had lunch to flush the adrenaline. I guess the newer bikes have this feature?

Dropped my '06 Ultra last year. Uprighted and turned ignition off-on 3 times. Reset tip over switch.
