Which swingarm kit?
I figured I'd post it here for the best exposure......
I've been working on an 87 FLHTP that was totaled last year in the hills above Los Angeles. Today I got to take her..."Alma" on an extended ride on all kinds of different roads, she failed miserably... The drivetrain is leaky but sound, the suspension not so much. To get to the meat of the post, I'm not going to change the rear swingarm out to a late model at this time. Other than the worn out cleve blocks and pucks it's in good condition with no cracks. I'm looking at the Sta-Bo 1 kit, and the V-Twin bearing kit as a suitable upgrade to the cleve blocks.
Anyone used either? How did it come out?
Any help would be great.
