OK, got my Lyndall Z+ pads. Went to loosen the damn pad retainer bolts and nothing in my toolbox will fit it. The bolts that hold the calipers to the mounts take a10mm 12 pt socket, which I have. I just can;t figure out what is small enough to fit in the recess for the bolts that hold the pads in place.
Before I buy 1 of every socket at Sears, does anyone know the right size I need? I assume it'll be a thin wall deep socket of some sort, prolly 6mm but not sure?
It's a 1/4" 12 point.
I was out riding and caught the Snap-On Man parked on the side of the road. I showed him what I needed and bought it off the truck. The one I bought is a deep well thin walled 3/8" drive.
