My late wife and I once bought a used Mazda minivan and I named her "Irene" for two reasons:

1. She was green, so I figured maybe she had some Irish in her.

2. The old joke.....

Q. What do you name a girl with only one leg?

A. Eileen (get it? "I LEAN?")

Q. What do you name a Japanese girl with only one leg?

A. Irene

So since the van was also Japanese, "Irene."

Too long an explanation. Just take my word for it.
