Old Horse is the name of my Road King, the first vehicle Ive ever named. Its not new, has some dings and scrapes, but puts a smile on my face every time we go for a ride. I stole the name from the film Little Big Man, as that was Wild Bill Hickoks nickname for the main character.
When I had two bikes for a while, I called the Road King “Silver” or “the Harley” and I called the V-Star “the black bike” or “the Yamaha.” Now that I just have the one I call it “my bike.”
My Heritage got its name, obviously, from its color...one word vs two. There was no good feminne name for the Baraccuda Slilver SGS color, so her "given" name just seemed appropriate but more frequently just refered to as the "Glide".
