People are in too much of a hurry. For me every day it is like okay you are going 5 miles per hour over the speed limit, but I want to go 10, so get the hell out of my way! Then the distracted drivers. And when did a 5 second rule come into law allowing everyone to run right through a "RED" light up to 5 seconds after it changed!
Second, any time the engine guard is bent like that, there is more than a small chance that the frame is bent at the attachment point. That's usually a total. Make sure you have the dealership examine it.

Get the bike and yourself throughly examined. I hit a deer several years ago and went down on my left side. Hip still bothers me to this day. Collarbone healed fine.
