I found the Fat Boy I had to have and picked it up 2 days ago. A 2003 Special Edition in great shape and pretty much all decked out. I just keep going out in the garage and staring at it. Even though I do not need anything for the bike I do need to find a few items like gloves and a jacket for me. Where is the best place to find these in large sizes. I probably need a 3x glove and a 4x or 4xt jacket. Any recomendations would be appreciated.

RE: Help for the large guy
Nice 'fattie' Tom,
Gloves shouldn't be a problem. If you don't want to spend the money for Harley stuff, almost any bike accessory shop carries extended sizes. I also have huge hands, and don't have any trouble finding them. Jackets could be a bit tricky. Us 'Biggies' really need to try them on. I bought my jackets, chaps, and electric liner at Harley rallys where I can try them on. I know lots of WEB stores have very liberal exchange policies, but you are looking at weeks wasted with shipping.
As far as leather goes, the wife and I both were in the same position, needing larger sizes and finding very few places that offered them at any price. Ran across Fox Creek Leather during a web search and while pricey, I could not be more happy with our choice to use thier services. Top quiality and the stuff actually fits.
When it comes to things like jackets, chaps, pants, etc. try to find someplce to try them on. I did the web thing and have spent time and money in the returning of products for exchanges or ordering 2 and 3 sizes and return what I don't keep. The problem I have is there really is no good leather store around my area.
No offense taken on the Fattie. Everyone here has been great. Thanks for all the welcomes. I found a local shop that had a jacket and gloves for me. My wife tagged along and came away with a jacket, vest, boots, glasses, and who knows what else was in those bags.
My local dealership has all sizes. I would contact a dealership. There are a couple that also give discounts, there were a couple of threads on it. It might be chicago or WI.
