I need the battery number for a Sena sph-10. I called sena and they were going to get back with about a battery. This headset had a irreplaceable battery from them. If I can get the right battery I can change it. My wife's holds a charge for about two hours. Mine a little longer. I assume I could take hers apart and see if it has a number on it. Surely i can get a battery for it. Somebody got one from somewhere. Thanks
I've had several Sena's and the battery eventually won't hold a charge. I've taken to having an external battery in my pocket connecting it to the headset right before I put on my helmet. I would also be interested to find out if anyone is able to replace the battery.
The charge of both mine and my wife’s won’t make it through a full days ride on a tour. We play music through them continuously . Mine gets around 5 hours and her’s 6 hours. So, I charge them during our lunch break, and 1 hour of charging them gets them through the day. It’s a PITA...but I think still more convenient than a wired headset,
I use one of these to charge them. This little gem, will go about 1 week of topping off our Sena headsets. And I have constant power to the transmitter doohickey.
But, I’m still interested in a replaceable battery. I thought about wiring an extra battery into the headset...but that would really look hokey.
edit: oh yeah, this thing was a “gift” from the NRA, and is about the size of a standard size cell phone.

I only get two hours or so. I did rig up cigarette plugs straight off the battery with a fuse. We rode today. About two hours and hers was dead. Charged it for about 45 minutes while we are. It made it back home. I still want to put new batteries in it. Hopefully someone will see this post and tell me what I need battery wise. I may call Sena again or get on a sena forum and see if they can help.
Yes. I have the SPH10H-FM set. It has a irreplaceable battery from Sena. If I would have done my research good I probably wouldn't have bought them. I know there has to be a replacement battery. I may have to change the plug but I can do that. I don't think I ever got more than three hours or so even when they were new. Going to keep looking.
