I received an interesting email from RevZilla, earlier this evening. I could help but laugh while reading it! There was a little backpedaling taking place!
Denniskirk has increased their advertised price sometime today, to $323 and some change. Rev emailed me and offered to match that price!
She said in the email, that the price I said (yesterday) wasnt the price they were advertising on their website. Backtracking-false-advertising-liars... they are!! I sent her/them the damn link to the website yesterday, per their request! They had to review it, to know they couldnt (OR WOULDNT) match it. LOL I have the screenshots and email correspondence to prove it!
Anyway, just had to share this.
Im done with them!
Perhaps when she checked the web site it had already been changed. Me. I be grateful for the call back. That's s good sign that they want your business. No need to resort to incrimination and name calling no matter what, I can't help but wonder what you motivation is for this thread. Seems we all have an opinion based on our experiences anf you experience or that of any other won't change my experiences or opinion. Maybe you're relieving you anger, maybe trolling Revzilla. Something about your entire story just plain feels wrong to me. We do agree on one thing, you should not do any more businness with Revzilla and I prefer not to hear more of your bluster. Have a good day. bye bye.
Recently? That article was dated over 3 years ago. Once Anthony was no longer doing the reviews, I would only use revzilla as a comparison for reviews of a product.
With all due respect hat makes no sense to me. Can you explain???
I have bought a lot of stuff from Revzilla. I have never had a problem with them. I like the Zilla cash, too. I'm not bashing on anybody that says they don't like Revzilla, I am just saying I like them, and have had good experiences with them.
Ive had good experiences with Rev in the past. I have never had any issues with them, what-so-ever. They do great videos to help the general public, Rev cash etc. Thats why I was a little taken back! Which is (like I originally said) exactly why I contacted Rev, to ask them about their price match.
Inevitably, the moral of the post: If a retailer advertises it, they should back it up! At least in my opinion!
I posted here.... thinking this would be the best place to ask. I didnt post to bash! (For those of you who are easily triggered... Dont take that as an apology.) The grammar (tone) used in the last email she sent, did it for me. All was cordial-like, till then!

Until just recently. I saw an item I was in the market for on Amazon, but the vendor was out of stock for my size (large). I contacted Revzilla (where I've spent thousands over the years), where they had the exact same item IN STOCK, but they wouldn't match the price because they claimed the sizes had to match exactly. Not happy, sounded like a cop-out- I told them in that case I would wait and purchase from the other vendor.
I used to purchase a lot from Dennis Kirk when I was into boating and watersports, think I'll give them a try...
Revzilla used to be good - got too big and successful to care anymore ... forgot their roots so to speak. Money does that to some folks. Bought a pair of pricey boots from them and asked if parts (replacement straps) were available. They said "No."
I didn't believe that for one moment, contacted the boot company in Italy, shared the experience and they had their USA importer send me the part I was looking for - gratus! Revzilla simply didn't give a sh*t post-sale.
Revzilla just doesn't care anymore - lost their way, forgot their roots - a penalty/by-product of $ucce$$ perhaps.
I've had good experiences with Cycle Gear but, as others have mentioned - there are options.
